Participants from Japan and the United States traveled to Washington DC to participate in the 2003 Orientation and 1st Master Teacher Program Conference.

Their trip consisted of workshops, sightseeing, and visiting local museums.

The purpose of the trip was to get to know partners before the summer visit.
