Scary white water rafting. Was thrown out a few times, and had some hairy moments crashing into rocks, and generally being pulled under and swallowing too much of that nasty river stuff.
Being ill for the first time since leaving home. Visited Chitwan National Park (with mum) and did not see anything. Instead, threw out liquid from both major orifices simultaneously, many times not making it to the toilet. Nice. Thankfully, mum happened to be there to look after me (yippeeee).
Getting altitude sickness on my trek. Felt dizzy for a day, and very nearly fell off a mountain.
Landslides. Nepal is a country of continual landslides, some of which I missed by a matter of minutes.
The constant pitch by 'salesmen' on the streets of Kathmandu ("hashish, marijuana, tiger balm, crappy violin that sounds like a dying cat").
Going on a stiff steep 4 hour climb to watch sunset, only for it to be completely obstructed by a freak storm. Bugger.
