Friendly Malawians with wide smiles greeted us wherever we went. The city of Blantyre was surrounded with green hills and big fluffy clouds, whilst it's streets were lined with market stalls selling cotton buds, alarm clocks, and nsima. People at the side of the road held out puppies and passers-by offered us fawns in a box.
Lake Malawi was a bright blue treat...clear warm waters with colourful cichlid fish protecting their young in their mouths. A few informal education lessons at Care and Concern Youth Centre proved to be lots of fun. |
