          A new student quickly antagonizes his school mates while his father is forced to trek through bear country with Peter.

"The Kids Stay In The Picture"         4/21/00
        Peter and Sophie are irritated with Chloe and her promotional video. Meanwhile. Scott is dealing with Child Protection with the help of Shelby.  Daisy and Ezra shoot a video of Horizon that is nothing but the truth. (great song)

"Exposed"              4/28/00
         When the kids discover an undercover reporter in their midst, they concoct wild stories for her. Scott finds out about Shelby's past of prostitution and backs away.

"Innocence"        5/5/00
       Shelby gets lost in a rainstorm in the woods after Scott pressures her to talk about her past, but ironically he is the one to rescue her. Peter finds out his father had a heart attack and returns in time to see his dad die.

"Daised and Confused"         5/12/00
         Daisy returns home for her mother's funeral and finally feels the pain of her mother's death after viewing an old photo album.  Juliette and Auggie get together, and the rest of the kids have to read
Frankenstein.

"One of Those Days"          5/19/00
        The kids stage a play; Shelby's mom takes her home because of the help needed there, and thus has to deal with the pain of saying goodbye to Scott. Peter's brother makes a surprise visit, and Sophie has surgery.

"Because It's There"     5/26/00
          Peter decides to stay at Horzon instead of go to Tibet because of his injured knee; Scott misses Shelby. Shelby finally overcomes her fear and presses charges against her step-dad after she finds out he molested her little sister, Jess, too.

"Falling Up"
       Peter has to overcome his re-addiction with drugs (very psychological); Scott's real mother visits and believes his story about his step-mom seducing him, and Shelby finally returns.
     

"Mended Fences"   6/9/00
      It's parents' weekend, Shelby and Scott struggle to keep their love together because Scott doesn't understand, but after he hears the story of her little sister's life on the streets, he finally understands. Peter contemplates his decision on leaving Horizon but finally decides to stay. He then proposes to Sophie, but she says no FOR NOW. The end deals with Scott and Shelby's long awaited kiss and them finally being together. Scott finally reconciles with his father.

"Because I love You" 
         Scott and Shelby are finally together and have accepted each other for who they are, however Scott's father feels that with his step-mom gone, Scott is safe to come home again which tore Shelby apart and eventually Scott.  Meanwhile, Peter is trying to ask Sophie for a simple explanation as to why she refused his proposal, and she eventually tells Peter how she is incapable of having children.  David and Ezra are continuing battling over Daisy. During all this comotion, Horizon has decided to hold a "MORP" (a backwards Prom) since Kat and all the other seniors are leaving. Peter wants the traditional Prom with ballroom dresses and  suits for the students. Dealing again with Scott and Shelby, Scott feels that a long distance relationship will actually work, but Shelby knows the reality of the situation and takes out all her anger on others especially Juliette.  Shelby finally tells Scott that he is her entire life and how much she loves him and then has to say goodbye. During the dance, everyone is having a great time but Shelby and Ezra however they help each other out. Then everyone goes outside to watch the meteor shower and thus begins the conclusion. Sophie asks Peter to marry her and obviously he is happy and says yes, and just when you think the show will end there,  Scott finally returns when he realizes he's not ready to leave and loves Shelby too much to let her go, and Shelby is ecstatic and the show ends with everyone watching the meteor shower!
