Rainy Days and Sick Guinea Pigs

Remember when I said that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong? Totally jinxed myself. Rainy Saturday, Saturday before Easter, plenty of important things to do and Ginny has something wrong with her tiny little foot. We had a bath, we trimmed our nails, had cuddles and snacks, and now we are sleeping in a make-shift containment of soft and fluffy items on top of a heating pad. Spoiled? You bet. This little girl has a personality too big for her own good, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. She gives the best kisses and she's the leader of her crew. Hopes and prayers. Keeping an eye out for different symptoms but, mommy is here. #chinupbuttercup #ginnytheguineapig

When you want but can't have

You've waited months for this. Time to plan the seeds. Vermont tends to bring 6 - 8 months of snow and you just. can't. wait. But you have to - because everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. The dreary April weather brings in depressing days along with the hot and cold that would make anyone sick. Time. Who has time? The daily hustle and bustle of a full time job and full time schooling - yep, I'm out. Exhaustion is wearing me thin and my seeds aren't started.
