How long have you been doing photography for?
Since I was a kid, I've been interested in photography, but about 10 years ago I got my certificate from the Institute of Photography in New York City.
What if I'm not photogenic?
Don't even worry about that! There are so many people who are nervous to get their photograph taken because they think they look awkward in front of a camera. And literally everyone feels that way. Don't sweat it. Being nervous is the worst thing you can do, so loosen up. I'll help to pose you and get all your best features just right, and we'll have a great time, I promise.
Where are you located? Do you travel? Is there a fee?
I am located just about an hour north of St. George, Utah. I do travel a bit around Southern Utah (to St. George, Cedar City, Newcastle, Enterprise, etc.), but with 6 kids, I already have a full time gig as a mom, so I don't tend to travel around very much. However, you are more than welcome to make a request and I will consider the circumstances.
What are your prices like?
My usual fee is $100 per hour (excluding gas prices). Travel time is included in that price. I should also mention here that during events like a newborn photoshoot, you should plan on about 3 hours because newborns tend to get fussy easily, have a difficult time sleeping, or need to be fed during the session (just a tip).
