| Okay...this is a really brief history, what can I say, I'm lazy. : The Beatles are from Liverpool England. John started a band called Quarrymen. Paul joined, followed by George and Ringo. John renamed it the Beatles. In 1962, the band came out with the single "Love Me Do" it got on the charts, but it wasn't very high on them. But the following songs were constantely #1. The Beatles were made a part of the British Impire and given medals. The Band broke up in 1970 after rising tension and conflicks over lead vocals and producers. All of the Beatles had sucsesfull solo careers. John Lennon died in 1980. And George Harrison died in 2001. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
