WEDDING BELLS - India
Today : December, 1998
Mumbai's who's who were all there. But the stars were in the eyes of
model-veejay Malaika Arora and Salman Mumbai's who's who were all there. But the
stars were in the eyes of model-veejay Malaika Arora and Salman Khan's actor
brother Arbaaz Khan, when they walked down the aisle last week. It was a
pleasant cocktail: church wedding and nikah.
Now Malaika is on leave from
MTV till end-December. "Since we spent so much time doing up our flat, we're
honeymooning here," says the groom. Adds Salim, the typical papa: "One headache
is over. Now only Salman is left but I'm sure he'll get married by end-'99."
Buck up, son.
WEDDING BELLS - G Magazine : December 18,
1998
Model-MTV veejay
Malaika Arora got married to her long-time fiancé actor Arbaaz Khan, the brother
of Salman Khan, at the St. Andrews Church in Bandra. The two were married in a
church.
ANOTHER
CONTROVERSY - Filmstrip : December 12, 1998
Salman Khan seems to have a knack for
getting embroiled in controversy. The handsome star is already in a soup over
the poaching of endangered deer. And now he is in the news for having rained
blows on Bollywood filmmaker, Subhash Ghai.
The incident occurred at a
private party hosted by filmmaker Kailash Surendranath. According to industry
sources, what sparked off the assault was Ghai's high-handed attitude when
discussing the terms of working with him for a film. Of course, Salman Khan did
apologise to Ghai the next day, and Ghai has magnanimously accepted the apology.
Yet, one fears for Salman and wishes he weren't so brash. Keep the peace, Salman
and hope you don't get into any more hot water.
BLOW HOT BLOW COLD! - WEB FM:
December 12, 1998
We've
heard of directors and heroines having 'physical' vibes but this privilege was
'borrowed' this time by two male celebrities.
At a private party hosted by
eminent ad-film-maker Kailash Surendranath, it was the turn of Salman Khan to
bash up Subhash Ghai, apparently over a provocative argument about "the terms of
working together for a movie.'' And the 'showman' who is so used to sycophants
flattering him most of the time got a stunning shock of his life-time when Khan
rained brutal blows on him. While the anti-Ghai lobby feels that the pompous
director deserved something like this to puncture his ego, his well-wishers are
very naraaz over this kind of "brash, violent conduct of an actor towards a
senior, respected film-maker". They feel that even if provoked, Salman should
have kept his cool and indulged in a verbal battle and not behave in such an
"uncivilised" manner.
All said and done, thanks to his papa Salim Khan (the
acclaimed writer) the star-beta was compelled to go over to Ghai's house the
next day and sincerely apologise. Of course the Ghai being a staunch believer of
the 'love-hate'syndrome, accepted the apology and even agreed to an invitation
from the Khans to have dinner with them.
DISHOOM DISHOOM FILMI ISHTYLE! - The Times of
India : December 9, 1998
What do you do if two famous people come to your party and get into a
fight? Die of embarrassment, I guess. This is what happened at a socialites
party recently. The couple is popular in the social circuit for throwing some
great parties. But to their horror, our macho hunk, SALMAN KHAN and SUBHASH GHAI
messed it up. The film glossies are going to have a field day over this
one.
Heres how the story goes: Salman made fun of Subhash Ghai. This upset
Ghai and the two got into a heated argument. Apparently, it came to punches and
blows. While the cocktail circuit was still buzzing, and those present at the
party were still discussing this over their hangovers the next morning, the duo
went and patched up in typical Bollywood style. For more dope on this one, just
look for the forthcoming issues of any filmmagazine.
| GOVINDA'S SAY ON SALMAN - India Bollywood : December, 1998 | |
| I have truly never met anyone in this world with a better physique than Salman. Just look at him... he looks so perfectly built. I would give anything to have a body like his! But more than that, what I adore about Salman is his loyality towards his friends. Everyone calls him rude and bad-tempered, but I have to tell you he has been my best friend here. More than once he has come to my rescue when I needed him. I remember, there was this school function once which I had agreed to attend, but at the last minute there was an emergency which I had to rush to. Since I had committed and was unable to go myself, they asked me if I could request one of my colleagues to go instead. The only person who come to my mind was Salman because I knew he would probably help me out. I called him up and asked him if he'd do it, and he readily agreed. In fact, he didn't even ask me why I couldn't go... he made no fuss at all. He just reached there and charmed the little ones so much that they didn't miss me at all. | |
MUSIC VIDEO - Indian
Express : December 1, 1998
Salman Khan & Sanjay Dutt were shooting for a music album in
memory of film director Mukul Anand in Mumbai.
It was quite unexpected. As
they crossed towards Juhu’s Ramada Inn, scores were taken by surprise.
Bare-chested Salman Khan, black-robed Sanjay Dutt and charming Shilpa Shetty
waved at the crowds, as a sea of tricolours fluttered in the backdrop.
The
three weren’t shooting for a film, but posing for the Hindustani music video.
The song is one of the six numbers in Dus, the late Mukul Anand’s dream project.
Since the film couldn’t be completed, it has been decided to release the
soundtrack separately. So, besides the stars, those present included Shakti
Kapoor, producer Nitin Manmohan, model Rahul Dev, the film’s music directors
Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, singers Dominique and
Mahalaxmi Iyer, video director Anil Naidu and Mukul Anand’s wife Anita.
Naturally, there was excitement everywhere. People waved the Indian flag
when the song was played. Boys and girls peered out of their school buses and
yelled for Salman. A couple of teenaged girls managed to get close to Sanjay
Dutt and plant a kiss on his cheek. Middle-aged men tried to break the cordon as
policemen pushed them back. Luckily, the shoot went on as scheduled. ‘‘It’s a
perfect tribute to a wonderful filmmaker,’’ Salman said after it was completed.
Added Shankar, ‘‘Mukul was not only a director, but also a friend. Ehsaan,
Loy and I were doing this music along with him as he was breathing this film.
We’re happy that we could do something to begin with.’’ Anita Anand said the
soundtrack would be called Dus: A Tribute To Mukul Anand. It was planned to be
released on January 26, she added. Loy pointed out that besides Shankar,
Dominique and Mahalaxmi, the singers included Udit Narayan and Asha Bhosle. ‘‘We
have used different styles in the music, and we’re confident that it’ll click,’’
added Ehsaan. Going by the crowd’s reaction yesterday, it seemed the music of
Dus would definitely create some waves.
| TRIGGER ON BIGGER! - G Online : November, 1998 | |
| Looks like it's not just his muscles that are mushrooming! Everything about Salman is now BIG! BIG pyaar-packed roles in his SUPER hits Pyaar Kiya To Darna Hai and Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai brought him BIG paisa! So, the BIG star is now entitled to his PALATIAL pad in the Khan khandaan premises in 'Galaxy'. It has a MEGA-sized Samsung TV, gadgets and gizmos. And a HUGE well-equipped gym complete with a trampoline a la Tom Hanks in Big! Natch, the security is BIGGER too! While pal Sal muscles up inside, his guards muscle out outsiders! This ain't no poor li'l rich boy! As the question goes: Who is bigger? Mr. Bigger or Little Bigger? The answer: Little Bigger 'cos he's a little bigger! | |
| MARCH AGAINST VIDEO PIRACY - Stardust : October, 1998 | |
| Down with video
piracy,' the cries rent the air, as the industry took out a morcha
to protest against video-pirates, They shut the whole industry and took to
the streets in the sweltering heat. The only ones who were there throughout were Madhuri Dixit, Rikku, and Sunil Shetty. Though Aamir and Salman did join in for some time.
KUNAL'S SAY ON SALMAN - Kunal Kohli's Column: October 15,1998
At one time, even Amitabh's flop films made
money. Nowadays, Shah Rukh's films flop but he is still appreciated in the film.
Salman steals the show and manages to turn films which have been written off,
like "Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya", "Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai" and now BANDHAN, into
hits. In the case of all three films, the pre-release and post-release trade
reports were not encouraging, but they were proved wrong with all of them
becoming hits. Salman has truly proved everyone wrong. If the number of hits in
a year is the way to judge a star, then this year, no star has beaten Salman as
yet.
SALMAN ALL THE WAY
- Screen : September, 1998
It seems that Salman Khan is going from strength to
strength. After giving two successful films in a row in Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya
and Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai. He is slated to repeal the feat with Shyam Bajaj’s
Bandhan, Bubby Kent’s Jaanam Samjha Karo and Sanjay Bansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke
Hai Sanam. All the three films are carrying excellent reports. The fact which
can be judged by the move of ace Bengal distributor Lala Damani, who had burnt
his fingers by making the Mithun starrer Saazish. Of late Lala Damani who also
lost heavily on the distribution front in some of his recent releases has became
very choosy while buying films but he was so impressed with all these three
films that he brought the rights of all the three films for Bengal at fantastic
prices. It seems that Salman will once again see his initial days when after
Maine Pyar Kiya he went on to give three hits in a row with Sanam Bewafa,
Qurbaan and Baaghi. And even if something goes wrong with the above mentioned
films then still he has the ever reliable Sooraj Barjatya with Hum Hai Saath
Saath to bank on.
| THE KHANS - India Bollywood : August, 1998 | |
| Rani Mukherjee has been finalised to play the solo heroine in producer Bunty Walia’s blockbuster Hello Brother where she is paired opposite Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan with Sohail Khan as the director. And the Aati Kya Khandala girl is secretly excited because Hello Brother will set a Bollywood record as it will have racy tunes composed by ‘five’ different music including Kamaal Khan and Himesh Reshammiya. | |
| SILVER STREAK OF SUCCESS - The Pioneer : August 26, 1998 | |
| Salman khan, with two hits under his belt (Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya and Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai), is hot property in Mumbai today. He has at least four very promising films lined up — Shyam Bajaj’s Bandhan, Bubby Kent’s Janam Samjha Karo, Sanjay Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Hain Sanam and the really big one, Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hain. Distributors are snapping up his films and Salman looks all set to repeat his earlier successful run, when he had done films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baaghi and Qurbaan. | |
| A TRICK UP HIS SLEEVE - Screen : August, 1998 The kind of mass hysteria Salman Khan evokes among his fans needs to be seen to be believed.Recently, when he walked into the cassette release function of his forthcoming film Bandhan, his fans, specially children, went berserk. So much so that Salman found it difficult even to walk upto the dais where he was to do the honours of releasing the cassette. The actor, on his part, obliged all his fans by shaking hands with them and signing autographs. Yet some children didn’t have enough of the charismatic star and contiuned hounding him. When things seemed to be getting out of control. Salman got a brain-wave. He shouted out to his little fans that if they didn’t stop following him, he would let loose bad man Shakti Kapoor (who was with him) on them. Needless to say, the trick worked and the next moment the children seemed to have disapperaed into thin air.Coming to Bandhan, Salman is quite confident about the film. "It has a very good subject. The story-line is unusual, that of a boy who has been given in dowry to his sister, and it has all the box-office ingredients," he says. |
| OH BROTHERS! - Filmfare : July, 1998 | |
| A search, we’re informed, is on for a director who’ll be able to handle the three Khan brothers under a single studio roof. In plainer words that means, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail may just come together in a film. The three are on the crest of the popularity wave... so it makes sense to see them together as heroes. Yeah, we know Sohail’s director etc but he’s inherited dad Salim Khan’s looks though. Is liye acting bhi ki to darna kya. | |
BLAH-DI-DAH! - Filmfare : July,
1998
Did we hear right,
or didn’t we? Seems during the world concert tour, Mahima Chaudhary raised the
hackles of Salman Khan. How come? Appears Mahima kept telling Somy Ali... oh
your boyfriend’s so cute, your boyfriend has all the girls swooning over him,
your boyfriend blah blah blah. With all this, Somy was driven to a state where
she didn’t want to let Salman out of her sight.. just in case the thousands of
his female fans got to him.
It was only after Salman assured Somy that his
heart beats only for her that matters cooled down. Hmmm, it happens.
KING KHAN - Indian Express : June 5, 1998
Salman Khan is undoubtedly the star of the season.
Attribute it to his shirtless state or the success of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya
but Bratty Khan has been making news even while he's away in London doing stage
shows and shooting. Even serious magazines felt the need to report that his
wardrobe had been stolen in the UK how's that for star status?
But now,
there is a fresh crop of news doing the rounds. Trade circles are abuzz with the
rumour that Salman may not do Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Unbelievable as it may sound, speculation is rife. Apparently, Salman was so
excited about the film that he had even signed up for less than half his market
price. Incidentally, according to sources, Khan charges about a whopping Rs 1.5
crore. But that's not what's bothering the hero. It's the 300 days that he has
apparently committed to Barjatya. It seems that Salman is keen to do more work
now that he is on a winning spree. It seems that this Khan is following in the
footsteps of the other Khan. Quality and not quanity is his new mantra. Salman,
like Aamir, it seems will only do three films a year. Does this means that the
brat is turning sensible?
SALMAN TO GET MARRIED - India Daily : June 4,
1998
Salman Khan is to
marry Somy Ali on the 1st of August. Somy Ali who has deserted her dreams, a
film career has decided to stand by the man of her dreams. She deserved her
dream-man like nobody else did. And it certainly looks like Somy's fervent
prayers have worked in her favour. It has also been found out that Salman Khan's
brother Arbaaz Khan is all set to tie the knot with the gorgeous MTV VJ
girlfriend Malaika Arora on 2nd August. The intelligent Arbaaz had already made
up his mind on the 'commitment' angle. The hot-headed star has finally decided
to take the plunge and wed the girl who waited for him over the years, at last.
It promises to be a week of grand celebrations in the first week of August. Two
lavish Khan weddings. It would make papa Salim Khan-not to add the rest of the
family-proud.
SALLU
FEVER - Indolink : June 1, 1998
The actor who has become the toast of Bollywood this year
is Salman Khan, who has proven that not only can he carry a movie with a bad
script and even worse direction on his shoulders (i.e. "Pyaar Kiya To Darna
Kya") to boost it to become a success, but he also has moved beyond the loverboy
roles to play more sensitive, mature characters (i.e. "Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota
Hai"). Incidentally, the latter movie has taken a whopper of an initial in India
and is expected to become the biggest grosser so far this year. He is also
rather relieved, since his alleged marriage to Somy Ali, which appears to be
more than a rumor, has not affected his box office standing one bit! And now
with Sooraj Barjatya's next ("Hum Saath Saath Hain") and a plump David Dhawan
project ("Biwi No. 1") ahead of him, it seems like Sallu dear will give all of
the other Khan's (i.e. Shahrukh and Aamir) a run for their money!
| SALMAN'S WARDROBE
STOLEN - Web FM : May 22, 1998 : Salman Khan's entire wardrobe was stolen
in a broad daylight under the noses of a film crew during the production
of his latest movie in UK on Tuesday. There is reluctance to say how much
the assortment is worth but an unspecified reward is being promised for
it's safe return. Producers of the film Jaanam Samjha Karo in which Salman plays a western boy, made a cardinal error of leaving his equipment outside the doors of shopping centre in Slough while filming a scene in one of it's posh cafe. Urmila is the female lead opposite him. Salman is in UK for three week schedule. Film officials at the set however denied negligence. |
ONE BIG SONG & DANCE SHOW - India Daily : May
21, 1998
Salman Khan
loves to pull people's legs. Especially if they are shapely and stockinged. Just
kidding. But Sallu is a real sweet heart. Sometime back, when he found that the
make-up room adjoining his was occupied by Karisma Kapoor, he began to croon
"Pardesi pardesi jaana nahin" at the top of his lungs. Lolo barged out and
good-naturedly punched him with a "Very funeee". Mr Fab Abs did the same with
brother Arbaaz, after "Daraar". He would stand in the balcony and sing "Teri
aankhon ka deewana"; embarrassing Arbaaz completely. Guess Lolo baby would have
a good answer to rib him back. Something in the lines of his "Auzaar's" "Ladka
jab bhi ladki deke gaye yahi gaana...."!
SAL STRAIGHTENS OUT - Rediff : May 07,
1998
Sanjay Dutt, you
may have read here, decided in the wee hours following Valentine's Day that he
ought to get married, and soon. So he dragged a pandit out of bed and got
himself legally declared the spouse of Rhea Pillai.
Now Salman Khan too,
after a long and overexciting personal life, decided to be rid of his bachelor
status. Putting aside his earlier views on the matter, the Khan is bringing
girlfriend Somy Ali to all functions he attends. In the past Salman never used
to bring his off-screen companion of the moment to any filmi function. But then
you know what happened to Sangeeta Bijlani.
On the career front too, Salman
is very excited about the upcoming Dus, rejuvenated after Ramesh Sippy took up
the job the late Mukul Anand had left incomplete. And then he has Rajshri
Productions's Hum Saath Saath Hain, where he is cast opposite Karisma Kapoor and
Sonali Bendre.
STIR
CRAZY - Indian Express : May 02, 1998
And the going is good for Bollywood abroad.
There are many star shows on and our heroes and heroines are finding themselves
in great demand. Other than the Pardes babe who is hugely popular, Sanjay Dutt
and Salman Khan are also a big craze there.
Taran Adarsh, a trade expert
from the industry, was in San Francisco recently and he said that the girls were
crazy about Salman. "They were actually asking me things like will Salman take
off his shirt for the `O Oh Jaane Jana' number. There was another young thing
who added that what she would like to preserve a drop of his sweat in case he
performed topless," says Adarsh.
To say that they were crazy about Salman is
an understatement, added the editor of Trade Guide who is reeling under such
`raw' admiration. Poor Somy Ali Salman miya's girlfriend she seems to be heading
toward trouble. We all know that the Khan stud has no qualms about giving into
overtures.
FAMILY
AFFAIR - Filmfare : May, 1998
Shortly after the much-discussed wedding, papa Salim Khan
hosted one of his fun-filled bashes on the seafront balcony of the Khan home in
Galaxy Apartments on Bandra Bandstand. But it wasn't an impromptu do for Sohail
and his bride.
"We'll do that by and by," papa said, putting us on hold.
Yet, we were treated to the most sumptuous paayas, biryani and kheer that can be
found in Mumbai. Besides us old buddies from Filmfare, the guest list included
veteran cricketers, Dilip Vengsarkar and Sandeep Patil. Also on the scene were
the shy and softspoken cricket fellas, Sanjay Manjrekar and Salil Ankola.
The evening was quintessential Salim Khan, as he discussed cricket and more
cricket with his guests. Son Arbaaz was as enthusiastic about the game. Salman
and Somy Ali were the picture of togetherness. And yes, Sohail did show up, but
solo.
The best quote of the evening, predictably came from Papa Khan.
Laughed he with paternal affection, "My sons introduce me to three or four girls
as their friends. And then they go and marry the fourth girl. That's life." You
bet.
KITTA SAUNA - Filmfare : May, 1998
More news from the Khan front...this one should warm the cockles of
the heart of the Bandra denizens actually. Seems Salman Khan has his eyes peeled
on the neighbourhood's Personality Plus health club and plans to convert it into
a health spa equipped with the latest exercise gizmos, sauna baths, massage
parlour and what-have-yoo-hoo.
Situated on Pali Hill, the health place
should attract not only the filmis but also the well-heeled interested in toning
up their bods.
Right now, Salman is a regular at Sanjay Dutt's private gym
where the two work out together...and are at times, joined by former cricketer,
Mohinder Amarnath. So, here's to pumping iron...doth make the movie world go
round, doesn't it?
| GETTING OF HIS CHEST - Rediff : April 23, 1998 : You know how these producers keep pushing their heroines into dropping their clothes? Now, it's the men who are in trouble, in particular Salman Khan. Ever since he stripped for films like Veergati and Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya, producers ask him to take his clothes off. Salman gingerly put his foot down recently when, for a shot in a film with Shah Rukh and Kajol, the young director asked him to get into a swimming costume. The actor hesitantly refused, and finally even manage to convince the director to drop the scene altogether. Now the question people are asking is why he strips for his brother's film and not for other's. |
FAMILY AFFAIR - Indian Express : April 17,
1998
Mixing business
with pleasure -- ummm... nothing sounds better! Sohail Khan who eloped with
Seema Sachdev is doing just this. All the Khan brothers -- Salman, Sohail and
Arbaaz -- are in London where Salman is doing stage shows. Apparently it's not
all work and no play for these boys as all of them are accompanied by their
partners. We are told that Malaika Arora is there. So is Somy -- for once Salman
is being faithful to his girlfriend.
And of course the new bahu Seema is
part of this cosy trio. She and Sohail are taking advantage of this opportunity
to start their honeymoon in the cooler climes of the UK. What she better watch
out for are these family affairs. I mean, surely she doesn't want the entire
Khan family in tow everytime she takes a break.
OH BROTHER! - Screen : April 10,
1998
| Bhai ho to aisa. Running through the credits of Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya one was surprised to find Salman’s name at the very end much below younger brother Arbaaz’s. This is one big brother who doesn’t mind his younger siblings hogging the credits. In fact, it was heartening to see the way Salman went out of his way to praise Arbaaz’s performance in the film and Sohail’s directorial capabilities to one and all. |
| WEDDING BELLS - Filmstrip : April 4, 1998 | |
| Sohail Khan has sent Bollywood into a state of shock. The young director whose movie, 'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya' release recently, stunned everyone by his daredevil marriage. In true film style, Sohail Khan eloped with his bride who was actually supposed to be marrying another. The bride is the daughter of a south-Mumbai based businessman. The news came as a surprise to Sohail's family, but they have accepted it with grace and goodwill. They will also be hosting a grand reception for the newly-weds soon. That's a lovely ending after all, now that all's well that ends well. Just like in the films! Congratulations to the bold and beautiful couple and god bless. | |
| LOVE KNOT - Screen : March 27, 1998 | |
| The party at the Piano Bar to launch Kamaal Khan’s new album saw a surprise guest strolling in in the late late hours. It was none other than the reclusive Salman. Not so surprising really when Salman confessed that kamal ka Kamaal was his best friend. With Salman was his other good friend Somy Ali. Now her presence was certainly surprising and more so the fact that the Khan came in holding her hand tight and never let go even for a minute. Is Salman taking a cue from another buddy Sanjay Dutt and giving Somy and shaadi a serious thought? | |
| SAMARITAN SALMAN - Rediff : March 25, 1998 | |
| Salman Khan may be
bad news for some, but there's one family at least that sees him as the
good Samaritan of the parable. Here's the story: The other day Khan was driving back home when he saw a blood-bespattered boy lying on the road -- clearly a hit-and-run. Khan stepped out, picked up the boy, put him in the car, and took him to hospital. Then he found the boy's address, called up the family and remained till they bundled in, a mixture of fear, confusion and awe. Assured things were all right, the family enthusiastically waved goodbye to the star. And soon after he left, the local florist popped in with a big bunch of flowers. Courtesy Salman. So what is happening to the man. Despite piling on all the muscles, is he getting soft in the chest?
SALMAN STEPS OUT OF RAJU RAJA RAM - Screen :
March 20, 1998
Jackie
Shroff's much-talked-about film, Raju Raja Ram, a David Dhawan directed
celluloid adaptation of the popular play, All The Best, has just suffered its
second casualty. Soon after the film was launched, Madhuri Dixit made way for
Manisha Koirala. And now we hear that Salman Khan has stepped out of the
project. The Khan along with Govinda and Jackie Shroff was to play one of the
three handicapped men. It's the story of three friends- one deaf, the other dumb
and the third blind- whose lives change when a pretty young girl walks into
their lives and makes them realise that despite their handicaps they have the
talent to make it really big in different fields. Date problems is the reason
being quoted. Salman's exit means that major portions will have to be reshot. A
replacement has yet to be found.
GRUFF EXTERIOR - Rediff
Salman Khan's the kinda guy known to scrunch
rock dust with his morning cereal and have a Kirloskar heavy duty where his
heart oughta be. All untrue, it appears, for recently he went off to meet a
terminally-ill child and also a function intended to fulfil his last wishes.
Can't have been publicity for he had tears in his eyes. And knowing his thespian
limitations, we can resolutely affirm that every one of those lachrymal drops
were the genuine stuff. He also donated Rs 10,000 to the child's family.
Recently, he even chastised his staff for driving away a bunch of street kids
who were trying to catch a glimpse of their hero. Bless him, the man actually
came out and waved to the children. And then he told his men to keep the doors
of his van open so that the kids could glimpse him. Anything for the audience,
seems to be Salman's new motto.
KEEPING TO HIMSELF - India
Post
It's been a long
time since one heard and saw much of Salman Khan. Well, the man sure believes in
keeping his private life under lock and key. Which is why when a Salman Khan
makes an appearance, it rouses lots and lots of curiosity. Now, he's doing
younger brother Sohail Khan's film opposite Kajol. And until you have a new film
starring Salman, keep searching for him in the glossies. Smart move on Salman's
part to keep the curiosity part intact!
