| Movie about totally different teen twins who get sucked into their tv...back in time to the old show "Pleasantville." David loves the show, which helps them survive it for a while. But with his popular, modern sister Jen, beginning to throw things off, Pleasantville evolves. Contains many messages, some more obvious than others. Very powerful, but also very entertaining and fun! |
| Based on the classic Parker Brother's game, this is a great movie. It is hilarious, lots of fun, and exciting to solve. Each character is included, with their own quirks, adding to the humor. Extra people, expendables, are used...all who die. You'll laugh, you'll scream, you'll solve the mystery...with three endings! |
| Cars, heroes, bad guys, explosions, sex, violence...what more could you want in a movie?! A great action intertwined with great plot: Kip got himself into big trouble not being able to deliver a huge car boost. Big brother, retired proffessional car theif, now has to save him by making a "comeback tour." Stealing 50 cars in 24 hours...piece of cake, right? See some classic cars, including (my favorite) the 1967 Shelby GT--Eleanor. Suspense, sass, humor, action...great stuff. |
| This teen movie is based upon Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew." A high school senior, Kat, is a wretch, or shrew. She rejects guys, and almost everybody else too. Her beautiful, overly-sweet, flirty sister, Bianca, has beaus lined up at the door by the droves. However, their protective father has only one house rule: no dating until you graduate. One of Bianca's more ambitious beaus cons another beau into "hiring" someone to date Kat. The plan begins to backfire when Kat and Patrick begin to fall for each other, and Bianca's secret beau doesn't see any action. Even so...the ending is sweet...but I won't reveal any of the great secrets...watch and figure them out! |
| Another teen/chick flick. The plot revolves around a bet made by two pompous, popular guys in high school. Zack gets dumped by his girlfriend after her fling over spring break. So Zack's best friend challenges him to find another girlfriend by prom, but to also turn her into prom queen, the slot Zack's ex expects. The misfit, arty Laney is chosen. The story follows Zack trying to get her to go out with him, and the inevitable romance that follows. But, things go wrong when Laney gets word of the bet...from Zack's best friend. Yikes! Watch to see how this movie ends up...and don't worry...:) |
| In 1962, the threat of being bombed was high, and bomb shelters were built all over. One evening, a plane crashed into the back of a CA couple's home, sending shockwaves. They rushed out to their exotic bomb shelter underground--an exact double of their above ground home, and more. Thinking they were bombed, they stay there for 35 years, and give birth to one son, Adam. After that time, they begin to venture to the top, shocked at the "mutants" and horrible changes in their neighborhood. This movie is funny, and cute. Adam has never seen a girl, and wants to find a wife in 2 weeks. With the help of Eve, he just might do that. |
| This is a sports movie I actually love! It's about the group of pseudo football players that take over for a striking team. Since none of them have played in years, them getting back into shape and practicing is hilarious! The cheeerleaders also went on strike, and had to recruit new ones. The willpower and unity of this movie adds greatly to its overall nice-ness. It's fun--great for football fans and non-fans alike. |
| Contrary to many reviews, this is a very cute, funny movie. Michael loves Gina, but she can't marry him, because of her father. He's in the mob. They decided to get married anyway, and set a date. But, Gina's worst fears come true when her father begins asking for a "little favor here, a job there" from Michael, making him one of them. To win back Gina's love and trust, he must go through a huge secret FBI set-up to trap the other mob members. This romantic comedy will have you leaving feeling happy and laughing. |
| This is a fun movie about an FBI agent on the line after making a mistake in the line of duty. To help her get back on track, she is enlisted in a new project at the Miss United States Pageant. Entering as New Jersey, Gracie, transforms from the tomboy, uncultured, uncouth, tacky, dirty, rough and tough agent to the gentle, poised, smiling, graceful, beautiful, happy...well maybe not quite...beauty queen. In trying to be a girlie-girl and an FBI agent protecting the girls from a psycho-killer, the laughter never ends, and the suspense continues to mount. |
