Following are the e-mail messages sent by Bro. Ciniraj Mohamed and Mrs. Mercy Ciniraj to the praying friends when they saw the face of death due to the torturing during the month of August and September, 2001.

Praise be to the Lord!
More than twenty five muslim youth who belong to a fanatic movement which supports by terrorists and ISI made a pledge together to wipe me out at any cost from this earth. They have given me the final warning to stop christian missionary works and convert back to Islam.
To me the only important thing about living is Christ, and dying would be profit for me. So I don't care about there pledge and warning, for I don't afraid of people who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. For the only one I fear who can destroy the soul and the body in hell. And I'm sure that He is protecting me mightly as an apple of His eye.

But my family is under the terrible fear. My wife and children dreaming the face of death. Please pray for my wife MERCY, and children- BESLY (son of 12 years old), HEPZY (daughter of 11 years old), and LESLY(son of 7 years old), that God may strengthen their faith and make them courageous to work for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And pray earnestly for the converts from Muslim community that they might be protected from the obstacles and let them not loose their faith in Christ and not to be scattered from the fellowship of saints. Also pray for thousands of seekers who are studying the Word of God that none of them goes astray from the Salvation.

Praise the Lord!
Thank you for your prayers, message of encouragement and the intercessory prayers of your subordinates and prayer partners.

I'm in a critical situation. I don't care about myself; but thinking about the converts and seekers as well as my family. Though everybody is depending on God but through my support.
Today somebody tried to kidnap my daughter from the school. God defeated their attempt miraculously. The parents of some other students were near the spot
and because they shouted kidnappers could not succeed.
I am thinking to send my children in the boarding. They are studying in the same school. So my friends are advising me to send them in different boardings in a distant place. But I am not sound enough to take an action immediately.
I want my wife Mercy to hide somewhere in a distant place. She was born and brought up in a Christian famly. So I am advising her to go and stay with some of
her relatives houses for sometimes. But she is not willing to move away from me.
I have Indian Passport. But my wife and children presently don't have it. Also they don't speak English either; but can read and write.
In this crucial situation I do not know what to do. I hope and very strongly believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus who has overcome the death and raised
from the dead will do miracles in the essential time. He is our Savior and God. He has crucified for our sin and enequities and given us Salvation. He knows
what to do. I commit myself, my family and the converts and seekers and all our
circumstances into his hands and pray without ceasing that let HIS will be done on us. Amen!

Praise be to the Lord!
Thank you for your continuous prayers for me, my famly, converts from Muslim community and the seekers.
One of our believers has been murdered last night. I came to know it through the news papers only. Nobody knows who did it; but police trying to find. Just few minutes ago I got an anonymous telephone call that those who are following me is the cause of his death as a warning. Only God knows who they are! He was a strong believer in Jesus; but his wife was not. So he did not receive baptism. His plan was to take baptism together with his family when she too accept Christ as her Savior wholeheartedly. For that he was trying to convince her slowly. In this situation I cannot even go and see his dead body too.
The Central Government (Union Cabinet) of India is an anti-christian government. They are not favour of christian missionary works. So they are deadly against our work. Our state (Kerala State) government is not anti christian government. But "Indian Union Muslim League" is the second major ruling party of the state government. They never like to see any christian missionary work among muslims. So state government also against our ministry and they give moral support to the organisation which is trying to destroy me from this earth.
Only God can protect us from this situation. Of couse He is our Refuge, Fortress and Mighty Protector. Yesterday somebody tried to kidnap my daughter from the school. But God defeated their attempt miraculously. The parents of some other students were near the spot and because they shouted kidnappers escaped without succeed.
I am bold enough in my faith. I know very many children of God praying with tears and crying aloud before Him for us. He will not let His children ashamed. He will prepare for us a meal in front of our enemies. Perhaps God may give us sorrow and hurt like the bread and water; but He will not hide from us. AMEN!

Praise the Lord! (Lord! do not allow me to stop praising Thee!)
My wife MERCY is so much worried and frightened. She even forgets to do the normal routines of the day. She forgets to take care of the childrens needs. I afraid whether she will have any mental disease.
Please...please...please pray that God may give her both physical and mental courage. Also for me to face and suffer anything for the glory of my living God. Let God's will be done! Once again I surrender myself before Him.

Once again thank you for your continuous and earnest prayers for me, my family, converts from Muslim community and the seekers of the Salvation of Jesus Christ.
A group of three men came to my residence last night with weapons. They cut the telephone wire and took out the main fuse of the electric circuit (it is kept outside of the house with the meter). We did not open the door. They killed our cat and the body was near the well. Our friends did not allow us to use the well water today, for there is no idea whether they have poured any poison. When the neighbouring people switch on the lights they went off.
Anyhow we have decided to leave this place to a distant interior place for few days. There we will be staying with a very....very poor family at their mud house. The hosts are converts from backward hindu community through our mission works. They earn daily for their life. Most usually they may not have any jobs or income more than 15 days of a month, and also not much hygenic. I used to help them medicines, clothes and their childrens education. We were having a Bible class in that place and very many people including a good strength of youngsters were attending. All are poor, living around as a colony of more than 60 mud houses. (It is not a slum; but almost same). No muslims residing in that colony or neighborring places. After all the people especially youngsters decided to be cautious like an army to give us security.
Of course we trust our Lord than any people. He alone is our Mighty Protector, Refuge and Fortress.
My wife and children never lived a place like before. There is no electricity, no telephone and not even purified water to drink. Lanterns with Kerosine oil are using for the light. So please pray without ceasing and if possible fast and pray for them that they may co-opt with the people and accustom with situations without any problem of sick or anything else. There we are planning to have fasting prayer these days. Pray God may enable us to win each and every souls from that colony.
I cannot hide myself so far. It is indeed that I should be with the converts and seekers, especially when they are in the trials and temptations. Since then they are all compulserily wanted me to hide for a while. And the Spirit of God also forcefully wanted me to move away from here for a short period through your messages and prayers.
Our childrens education is another big problem. I am sure God will do miracles these days as the result of your prayers. We are in a terrible financial crisis too.
We remember you all by name, your household and ministry in all our prayers. May God bless you abundantly and give you reward thousand fold.

Praise the Lord! HALLELU..YAH!
We must share it before we leave. It is because of your continuous prayers with tears. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Very late last midnight Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ appeared before Mercy, wiped her tears with Mighty Nailed Hands and blessed her. She stood up from the bed immediately with a great joy, praising and thanking God till the morning. Children and myself also joined with her praising and thanking God. Jesus alone delievered her from all kind of depressions. Praise the Lord! Now she is courageous. Lord has strengthened her. Praise the Lord!

Against hope I believe in hope that Mercy will not have such problem again.

We leave to a distant interior place today itself. Please continue to pray that God may do miracles in that colony. We will be fasting and praying these days with those poor people. I am sure God Himself will bring us back soon.

Praise be to the Lord!
By the grace of God and because of your earnest prayers we are safe under our God's Mighty Wings. Last six days we stayed in a mud house of a village colony with the people of below poverty line. We were having fasting prayers. Every one of the colony (more than 300 people, including children) attended the prayer meetings, people above 14 years accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and very many filled with the Holy Spirit. Most of them are not yet baptixed. But they are preparing for baptitsm. Pray that God may meet all of their needs.
My wife (Mercy) also shared the Word of God with her testemony by the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord! She is fully allright.
There was no proper bed to sleep, no electic power for lights and fans.
God has given us courage to accustom the situations happily. Even though both my sons (Besly of 12 years age and Lesly of 7 years age) caught up by heavy fever with boils in their body. May be because of the bite of masquitos. Now they are admitted in the hospital. Please pray for their quick recovery.
The group who took pledge to kill me is more active. The terrorists who supports Taliban in Afghanistan is behind them. Six state governments of Indian Union asked the central government to ban that movement. But they are well established and it is not easy to ban immediately.
Let God's will be done! That is my prayer. I have no complaint. I know He will do everything for good and will do everything in time.
"FIG TREES MAY NOT GROW FIGS, AND THERE MAY BE NO GRAPES ON THE WINES. THERE MAY BE NO OLIVES GROWING AND NO FOOD GROWING IN THE FIELDS. THEIR MAY BE NO SHEEP IN THE PENS AND NO CATTLE IN THE BARNS. I am Mercy Ciniraj, wife of Pastor Ciniraj Mohamed. I am not know to express my
ideas. My English is poor. Sorry.
My sons (Besly and Lesly) discharged from hospital. My husband came with them in a car to the colony where was we lived last 12 days. It was night. On the way some men jumped in front of car with knives. They attacked my husband and children pulled down from car. Poured Petrol. Suddenly number of people appeared in a Lorry fighted with them. Enemies ran. I believe they are angels of God. Colony people wondered and got strong in faith.
Now we left colony. I and children in a relative's house. My husband Pastor Ciniraj
Mohamed another secret place. I pray for Pastor to go America or Europe or
Australia. Children to go for three different boarding schools.
Financially also we are suffering. My children need medicines.
I send this mail to a few selected people like you. Please pray. Again I cry.

I am Mrs. Mercy Ciniraj, wife of Pastor Ciniraj Mohamed writing.

One more believer of Christ from Islam murdered. Police took dead body from the spot after 24 hours of death. My husband could not came and did not see dead body. He is in hidden place. I sold some household things and made money to carry the dead body for funeral.

My children getting better by God's grace.

We pray for America and all people attacked by terrorists. One of supporting group of same terrorists behind us.

Please pray for my husband, myself, my children, believers from Islam and seekers of Christ. In every ways we suffer. Please ask your friends pray for us and support and help as much you can.

Dear beloved in our lord Jesus Christ

Praise be to the Lord!

By the grace of God I came back to my house today. It is of course because of your earnest prayers God protected me, my children, my wife and the believers and seekers. One more person who attained martyrdom, which my wife has informed you recently, is with our Lord Jesus Christ I believe.

Praise the Lord! The Government of india has banned that movement today for two years. The members of the same movement was taken pledge to kill me. They may become more rebellious; so please continue to pray for us.

I came to know that America was attacked by the terrorists. I do pray for America, all of its people and believers in Jesus, especially the families of victims.

By all means we are all suffered a lot. It may take time to recover from fear and burdens. Also we do not know what will be going to happen. Pray....pray for us without any failure.

Beneficent and merciful Saviour!

I was wicked and sinful but Thy precious blood redeemed me and granted peace. Am I worthy of it? Because of my utter depravity and disobedience, I never thought of repentence before Thee. But instead of consuming, Thou hast forgiven me and granted life eternal. How can I thank Thee with mere words?

My own parents and brotheren forsook, but Thou didst take care of me. Thou hast graven me in the palms of Thy hands and shown the path of righteousness. How can I stop praising Thee?

Lord of hosts! Thy word became flesh to deliver me from sin, give me freedom and to give salvation. I adore Thee and surrender myself to Thee as Thou art my living God and fortress. Whenever Satan send his arrows towards me, do remind that I am safe under Thy protection. And my unshaken faith in Thee shall help me overcoming all obstacles by Thy grace.

Though I walk through thorny bushes or shaky bridges or the valley of death, give me the strength to press on towards Thy kingdom.

Through people shower evil upon me because of Thy Gospel, have mercy on them and make them realize what they do!

Countless millions are lost each day! Wilt Thou not remove their corrupted nature and infuse in them Thy redeeming blood so that they may live? Wilt Thou not use me as a needle to inject them Thy blood?

Thou oh Christ! This day I’m born in Thee; Fill me with Thy goodness and make me reflect Thy glory!

Fill me with the gifts of Thy spirit so that I may gather souls for Thee!!

Let me not turn my eyes from Thee but always do Thy will and seek refuge and blessings!!!

We do pray for America and all of its people, especially believers that God may protect them from all terrorist attacks and strengthen them to grow in faith and prayers during this crisis time. It is God's promise that He will fight for His children. So we pray for the succession of the fight against terrorism.

And also we beg you all to pray for the whole world that God may protect every one of His people from terrorism, pollution, war and natural calamities. God never wants let anyone goes astray. Let everybody (Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, nominal Christians etc.) who do evil aginst their fellow beings shall confess from their sins and iniquities and be born again through accepting Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord. Let all filled with the Holy Spirit and produce the fruits of the Spirit. Kingdom of God is near. Return of our Lord is immenant.

Once again I ask you to pray for us continuously. We are struggling too much to survive.

"WHAT IS SALEM VOICE?"

"He (Jesus, the High Priest) is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, that is, king of Peace" (Heb 7:2)

“SALEM VOICE” (Spiritual And Literary Evangelical Mission) is a registered Society No.K.993/99, praying for others as well as working for the world peace. We pray to God the Father through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit for every nations that He may protect everybody from terrorism, peaceless, uneasiness, natural calamities, contagious diseases and wars.

Salem Voice do charitable works by giving education to the poor children; building houses for homeless; supplying medicines,clothes and food for the needy; establishing mobile dispensaries for the slums, interior villages and hill places.

And also we share the experience of Salvation by proclaiming the Gospel. We establish the institution of Good News libraries, print and distribute tracts and other literature and Bible classes. We organize the worldwide intercessory prayer circle, conduct Gospel campaigns, retreats. We are sending out missionaries and mentoring successors.

There are 52 missionaries working for the Lord, and 27 cell groups gathering every week to pray and worship under the label of Salem Voice in different parts of India. We want to train missionaries for the church planting.

‘The IMAM Ministries and Charities’ is a major project of the Salem Voice to spread Gospel among Muslims and other needy people. At any cost to win muslim world is one of our mottos. We do personal evangelism as Emmaus style of our Lord, postal evangelism, correspondance courses, conducting seekers conferences and short term cross cultural trainings, establishing cell groups for the church planting.

‘The Worldwide Intercessory Prayer Circle’ is another major project to pray and encourage all the children of God to pray together as a chain for those who are in need of prayers and growing into the spiritual life.

A monthly prayer bulletin called “Salem Voice” is publishing since last five years. It doesn’t have subscription, but sending freely. We wish and publish it in different languages.

We plan to run village schools for the children and adult educational centres. Also computer schools for the youth.

The director board of Salem Voice consists 7 members to govern the society. We have a plan to spread out this work in an International level. So the Board needs members of many countries for this work, specially to reach muslims all over the world.

We need your prayers, spiritual advices and all kind of financial, and material supports for this great task. So that God may enable us to reach the unreached.

There is a huge expenditure for the works of Salem Voice. We relay on God for all our needs.We desire and pray to have buses and clinical materials for establishing mobile dispensaries for slums, hilly places, interior villages or the places where natural calamities or contagious diseases affects. We need to have a retreat House where people come and stay with the Lord for minimum one weeks retreats. We need vans (for bringing literature), mini buses (for going outreach with musical team), motorbikes (for evangelists), a multi unit offset press to publish literature, musical instruments, Computers for the computer school, Prayer Halls, Rehabilitation Centres for those who are neglected from their families and communities because of the Christian faith etc. We expect prayers and support from the children of God.
