| The Salem Fire Department has taken delivery of a new Ferrara commercial pumper truck. The truck was built on a 2002 GMC chassis, and is powered by a 300 horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine. It has a top mount 1250 gpm Waterous pump, and a 1000 gallon poly tank. The truck is currently in service and is for responding to in-town fire calls. It is fully equipped with all the latest fire fighting equipment. |
