Killua Zoldick

A boy belonging to a family of assassins, wanting to live a life as a normal boy

Killua is a very lonely kid, who disobeyed his parents and ran away from home... Although I couldn't blame him since he was tired of being an assassin and killing people. He had nothing to do then, so he just joined the hunter exam, the same exam where Gon was joining that year. At first, when meeting Gon, he didn't say much, and when Gon asked him his name, he didn't say anything either. But of course, as we all know, Gon's insistent asking made Killua tell him his name...

Killua really wanted to make friends, although he really didn't have any back at his home because he was feared belonging to a family of assassins, but Gon was really different. Killua was even amused since when he told Gon about being a Zoldick, Gon just brushed it off and still continued befriending him and treating him like a normal kid his age, nothing about status or family ever seperated them, they still fought on.

Killua's the best friend of Gon, and Gon's the best friend of Killua, they stood up for each other when one was down.

For me, Killua is really a good and reliable friend, incidents to prove it? During the final test in the hunter exam, when Gon had his fight with Hanzo [if you don't know him, he's the ninja with the 'shiny head' *snicker*] Killua was already going to interfere in the fight to save Gon from any more pain if only the referees, Leorio and Kurapika didn't stop him. [Actually, Leorio and Kurapika were having the same feeling then.] Another incident was during the Yorkshin Auction, he was also there to support Gon (also with the help pf Leorio) to help him find the Greed Island game to help in the search for Gon's father, hec, he was also with Gon (get this...) INSIDE the Greed Island game until the time when he left to enter the next Hunter Exam [this is evident in the manga vol. 14... the Greed Island OVA is not yet released outside Japan as of I know].

So...as for my opinion in regards to Killua, he's ok~ (but still I vote Gon more kawaii than him~ eheheh... ack~ *evades things thrown at her*) this little bishounen has made through hard challenges and surely he and Gon will have a strong friendship.
