These two phrases echo through the ages.  Of course, the solution to them both is based in the same aspect of God... namely Eternal Life.  Since the essence of Life, the essence of God, is eternal, all of The Divine One's thoughts are eternal.  Mankind is a thought of God.  Man's life as a conscious entity is eternal, but his physical life is temporal... he dies after a very brief physical life.  While physical, man operates with a physical brain.  Some aspects of the brain-mind are built-in, to take care of certain physical needs.  Other aspects of brain-mind are left open, for example the cultural aspect, belief systems that contribute to the sense of separated personal identity.  As we have noted beforehand, the belief system, which is learned, becomes ourself in our eyes and in the eyes of others, even though it is not the true self.  God's game, the game of Life, is in play.  The name of the game is GO FIND YOURSELF.  This results in our chasing our tails most of the time.

So, we have Eternal Life, which is a state of consciousness, and we have the GAME of life.  Only upon revelation of Inner-True-Self is eternal life proven to be.  When you have proven to yourself that eternal life IS (through dis-covery of your own Inner True Self, you are faced with evidence of re-incarnation.  Here, first of all, is the destruction of the myth of "I didn't ask to born" which is always used as a weapon against one's parents in time of ego-frustration.  Consider this:  if one passes from one grade of schooling to the next highest grade, did that person "ask" to be promoted?  And on the other hand, if one fails to pass a grade, has that person "asked" to be put back
in the same grade after summer vacation?  In this same fashion do we "ask" to be born; the weapon disintegrates upon revelation.  Weapons disintegrate only upon revelation of Inner True Self, and the resultant acceptance of responsibility for one's own life.  This is true on all levels, from individual on up to political.  This is why there can be no world peace until INDIVIDUALS start taking upon themselves the responsibility to learn the True Essence of life; the Harmony of life.

This same fact has bearing upon the natural and un-natural disasters encountered by all (to little or to great extent) in day-to-day living.  The human being must resolve his karma during his physical life, in order to free from adversity.  Past inharmonious dealings, personal or business, (it's all the same), must be neutralized.  The only way to do this is by discovery of the Inner True Self, in which dis-covery there is total and unconditional forgiveness.  Then, armed with this new and correct understanding of life essence, one may live a fulfilled life.  No person or group of persons is in any situation or condition that is "wrong".  The universe and all that is in it is in perfect balance, Divine Order, right now.  Now is the only time there is.

Believing in re-incarnation may lead to a certain laziness and carelessness.  KNOWLEDGE of Eternal Life, on the other hand, through discovery of Inner True Self, shows one the necessity of living a harmonious life, of actively upgrading one's life skills... just as in school, we go from one grade to the next.  It is necessary to have that mental balance which accepts the perfection of the moment, and also accepts growth.  This balance is only developed in the individual through discovery of its own Inner True Self.
