Welcome to my web page! I am Sajin Kumar K.S. I was born on the early hours of July 3rd 1975 in a small village near the southern tip of Indian Peninsula. The hamlet provided me with basic education. Gazing at the diversified geography and grown in the wilderness of tropical environment, I pondered what lies beneath the earth. The quest of unraveling this mystery landed me to select geology as the prime subject in graduation and post graduation level. In 1998, I completed M.Sc geology from University of Kerala and stood first. It opened the vistas of my dream and aspirations. Meanwhile I was selected in various organizations like Kerala State Mining and Geology, Central Groundwater Board and Geological Survey of India, besides being a Guest Lecturer in His Highness Maharajas University College for a short while. Of late, I was awarded with Senior Research Fellowship by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
I availed a life time chance of doing PhD in the highly reputed Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The fond of knowing the enigmatic nature of disastrous events happening in the world, I selected landslides as my research topic.
Knowing the fact of the role played by Geological Survey of India in the nation’s development, my decision of spending my entire career had a fruitful vision.
The passion of becoming a professional photographer made me a part time photographer. Adventurous travel through the rough mileau of different part of the country criss crossing the different climatic zones shows my eagerness in this hobby.
I welcome you to the world of finished and unfinished agendas of my dream projects and other aspirations. The dividing line is laid out in simple and lucid language. I entail you with an understanding of it and as my source of inspiration for further exploration.
