A beautiful village in Calicut DIST.of Kerala state in India, which carries lots of Sweet memories and unknown emotions.. That is Kodiyathur,That small streets,That old fashioned homes, lovely and honest peoples with their unic speech, dressing, innocency, culture, what more its pure like rain

It is a remote and peaceful village with very less activity and it is far, far away from the madding crowd.

Kodi kutthiya ooru’, that is Kodiyathur. Most of the flags from most common thoughts, religious, sub-religious, political, cultural bodies… are positioned here from olden era itself. Even if Kodiyathur is splendid with different thoughts, the village has not been witnessed a communal riots or political assassin up to this date.

The village has get into the national political history through Mohammed Abdurahiman sahib’s last speech and gain entry to the world religious map by Mubahala held at 1989.
