The Northern Ohio Geological Society (N.O.G.S.) is an organization established to exchange geological information among professional and student geologists in Northeast Ohio and to encourage scientific research by its members.  Activities include regular meetings with speakers on various geological subjects, field trips to nearby sites, and  workshops.  Membership on several levels is open to all professional and student geologists.
