Challenges 2
Robin Hood Challenge

AU challenge. Sir James Ellis, a soldier returned from the Crusade of Richard the Lionheart, returns to England ahead of the rest of the army to assess the situation at home for the King. Treking crosscountry through hostile territory toward England, his heightened senses come on-line. Finding the situation with Richard's brother to be dire indeed and his own head to have a price on it so that he will not tell Richard of his findings, James retreats to Sherwood and joins the band of outlaws he finds there. Once there, a converted gypsy named Blair, who fled from the executioner under false accusations of poaching, tells him that he is a Sentinel, a warrior for God gifted with greater perception than normal men, a protector of the people. Robin of Locksley joins them later (movie, Prince of Thieves, slightly AU from that as well, but use the chronology) and James and Blair are among those who are caught in the fight to hang on the gallows.

Requirements: Jim with long hair. Blair with short hair. Deal with accusations of witchcraft and/or demonic posession against both. No slash, unless you choose to be historically acurate in regards to Richard III. Appearance of spirit guides. A demented squirrel. Accidental injestion of certain wild mushrooms (humorous). Three noblemen getting robbed, scenes not in the movie. William or Steven as one of the noblemen who's robbed. Blair knowing Nautingham's witch, possibly kin.

Country Cascade Challenge

Work 20-30 country song titles into the story logically, and use 5-10 names of country stars. The star names can either be refferences or used as character names. The songs and names can be from any point in popular radio history, as long as they would qualify as country music. Elvis doesn't count! The new one with Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow does.

The M*A*S*H Challenge

You can blame my sister's addiction to MASH on this one.

An AU story wherin Jim and/or Blair end up in the 4077th during Korea, prefferably in the Trapper/Frank/Henry era rather than the Hunnicut/Charles/Potter time. No slash please. Other requirements: Three Radar psychic episodes, at least one having to do with Blair or the panther. Hawkeye must figure out what's up with Jim. Prank war with Hawk and Trap against Frank and Hot Lips, prefferably with some
very embarrassing results.

I wanted to do this one myself, but I can't write Hawkeye any better than I can Buffy, and for the same reasons. All those snappy come-backs.

Good luck!
