Both men spent a year in Canada from the Fall of 2005 to the Spring of 2006, before returning to the Philippines to complete their studies.
Venerando served in Dawson Creek and later at St. Mary's Parish in Prince George. Vener was ordained Deacon in Dawson Creek in January 2007.
Rectorino served in Kitimat and later at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Prince George. Rector was ordained Deacon in Kitimat in May 2006.
Vener and Rector have both completed their studies in the Philippines and are now completing their formation at St. Joseph's Seminary in Edmonton. They will be auditting a few courses and getting a bit more Canadian inculturation (-30 C right now).
Both men plan to be ordained to the priesthood in May 2007, here in Prince George!
