We introduce the child into the Church community through Baptism. The Baptism Preparation Programme was initiated to help parents and sponsors understand why we baptize our children. It consists of several sessions and is offered several times a year. Baptisms normally take place during Sunday Eucharist. |

The Diocese of Prince George has restored the order of the sacraments of initiation and children celebrate Confirmation and First Eucharist together. Preparation sessions are offered through the Religious Education Program or St. Mary's School. This generally takes place in Grade 2.

In order to allow sufficient time for our marriage preparation programme, please arrange an appointment with a parish priest at least 6 months before your wedding date.
Last year (2004-2005), the four city parishes in Prince George offered a combined marriage preparation programme. This was offered several times during the course of the year. It generally runs around 6 to 7 weeks.
An alternative is the Engaged Encounter programme which has several weekend sessions during the course of a year. Check out the Engaged Encounter website for more information.
