| The first step was to get as much hardware stripped from the decks as possible, so I didn't have to pay $70/hr for someone else to do it. I started by removing the lifelines and the boom before I went to the boat yard. |
| Since the chain plates are in the middle of the decks, they removed the mast to make the recore job easier. This also gave me a chance to inspect my spar and perform some maintainence. |
| The boat looks pretty sad with no mast. The stansions and bow pulpit will come off eventually. |
