Starting Out Right


"What must I do?"

So you have joined Neopets and are all geared up about starting your quest and becoming rich and famouse just like Frodo here...that's good but you won't get anywhere without a fast and easy start. This section will tell you what you need to do to establish a firm ground to stand on in neopets and begin making money. Some of these require money and you will have to play games to get it.

1. Open a bank account- Go to the bank in the shops area and open your first account. A bank account is important because in it, your money is always safe and can grow by earning interest on itself.

2. Get a shop- The games are a good moneymaker but when you begin earning serious cash it will be through your shop. With a shop you can buy items from people at a low price and sell them at a higher price which always helps with money. Attempt to upgrade your shop to a size 10 at least before begining to use it.

3. Begin Training Pet- A strong pet is a happy pet so you should begin training it as soon as possible. Since it is probably still weak you should train it at the swashbuckling academy on krawk island at the cost of one dubloon per lesson. Your pet should gain at least a decent amount of strength so it can fight in the battledome and make you proud.

4. Work On Your User Lookup- If someone types your username into the yellow tool bar in neopets they will see your user description and everything about you. If you want people's respect and for them to be neofriends with you making your user lookup impressive is good. try to add HTML to the description but not too much or the neopets staff could get upset.

5. Earn Some Easy Trophies- Games like cheat, pyramids, and beating punchbag bob in the battledome can earn you trophies. You will need to beat these games or at least beat a portion of them to earn a trophy but seeing it on your user lookup will be easily worth it.

6. Get Your Pet Weaponry- Now that you've trained your pet a bit you need to go out and buy some weapons for it. Since you most likely don't yet have a lot of money try going for the more average weapons like the chia bubble gun or the large metal shield as a defensive weapon.

7. Getting Food & Freebies- your alomst done. now you must remember that the omelette in Tyrannia will always give you free food and that king Coltzan's shrine in the lost desert will give you free gifts. Do not be afraid about visiting the snowager for a free gift or the fruit machine and if your pet gets injured go to the healing springs to get back up to 100% health.

With that in mind: Go off and beome a successful Neopian!!!!
