The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition DVD is something no self-respecting LOTR fan should be without! With several new and extended scenes, the whole movie flows much better (at least for those devoted enough to sit through it) and, as if the lengthy run time isn't enough, there is 13 hours of behind the scenes footage, cast/production commentaries, character images, and easter eggs. Listed below is a growing list of special features of the DVD as well as some hidden features - the "alternate Council of Elrond" and trailer for Two Towers. Hopefully, with the release of the sequels, we will eventually be able to see bloopers of some kind, but there are none that have been found on any of these four disks... at least to our knowledge. So, if you don't own the Extended Edition - or if you don't know how to use it - feel free to check out the links below to learn more about the stuff that didn't make it into the theatrical release. LOTR will never be the same again!
