#6 is not a poem, but I believe it has a good message and should be up for everyone to read. :P  ~Chiyo~

6.Remembering Those Left Behind

For all those who were injured or killed in the hijacking of the 4U.S. airline planes, you did not deserve to have what happened to you. We hold the hijackers responsible for these acts of war. For all those who got out of the World Trade Center, either before or after the collapsing of the 2 buildings, you are very lucky. The people, who also got out of the Pentagon, you too are also very lucky. And let us never forget the ones left behind only to be taken by death.
No one deserved to be hurt or killed, and for all the doctors, rescue personal, and firefighters, who risked their lives to save other peoples lives, we thank you indefinitely. And, for any of the people saving lives who died in the act, may you be remembered in the prayers of the people fortunate enough to survive. But everyone, especially the ones death took, we will remember you all.
This day has affected us all in different ways. For the people who lost loved ones, they are affected by losing something irreplaceable. We can rebuild buildings and files, but a persons life is something that cannot be rebuilt. For the people who lost their security, they have lost something that will be hard to replace. It takes a long time to get back their feeling of security, the feeling of being able to feel safe in their own home. No matter what happens, we will stick together and pull this time of hardships and acts of violence. For everyone, thank you and may God bless you and keep you safe.

Gone

If I knew,
That tomorrow would be gone,
I'd ask you today,
Before my life goes wrong.
If I knew,
You'd say yes tomorrow,
I'd ask you today.
But tomorrow is now gone,
and you said yes the day before.
If I knew,
That I'd lose my chance,
I'd come to you yesterday.
But tomorrow is now gone,
And my chance is forever gone.

Emotional Forecast

When the sun shines,
Thats my face lit up with joy.
When the skies are gloomy,
Thats my life taking an unexpected turn.
When the snow covers the land,
Thats me, stuck in a situation.
When the winds whip around,
Thats me, being tossed and thrown.
And when the heavens open up and the rain falls,
Thats my tears flowing from my eyes,
Knowing I cannot have you.

Your Prize

Across the room,
I catch your glance.
And with a smile on my face,
Do I have a chance?
I see your face,
and the joy in your eyes.
But am I enough,
to be your prize?
