Doctoral Research Work
Title of
study: Multicriterion Decision Making in
Water Resources Planning (Year 2000)
Research
Advisor:
Prof Lucien Duckstein,
Professor, University of Arizona, Tucson, U.S.A. Presently
Professor invitee, Ministry of Irrigation, GRESE, ENGREF, Paris,
France.
Work in Brief: Two MCDM
methods namely, EXPROM and STOPROM are developed which are easy
and flexible than most of the existing MCDM methods. Decision
Support System MULTICRIT(with manual) is also developed and widely
appreciated in the academic circles. MULTICRIT is validated with
two case studies in Europe (Spain and Greece) for selection of
suitable irrigation strategy.
