I was lucky enough to catch major portion of Nova presentation "MARS Dead or Alive" on PBS tonight. To be able to see behind the scenes of the making of world's most advanced rover Spirit is pretty amazing. The show has some drama to it too. How neat is it to be able to beam images and communicate with another planet, millions of miles away!

This week has been a feast a football games, with all the college bowl games and the NFL wildcard games. All the college teams I was rooting for have lost: Longhorns, Gators and the Seminoles. Let's hope that Dallas Cowboys can pull it off tonight.
