FEAST DAYS: APRIL & MAY Monday 28 April, St Peter Chanel, priest, Martyr & NZ patron. Tuesday 29 April, S. Catherine of Sienna, Doctor of the Church. Friday 2 May, S. Athanasius. Saturday 3 May, SS Philip & James, Apostles.

SACRED HEART First Friday 2 May monthly anointing Mass at Ponsonby, 12 noon. Evening Mass for Vocations and Holy Hour commencing at 7.30pm.

YOUTH MASS A special Youth Mass for the Pastoral area will be celebrated on 4 May at 9.00arn at Sacred Heart. A gathering of all young people attending will be held in the Parish Hall on conclusion. This meeting will be conducted by two team leaders from St Annes, Manurewa. All attendees are requested to attend this important preparation for the World Youth Day.

ST JOSEPHIS PARISH MEETING: SUNDAY 4TH MAY All parishioners are cordially invited to attend a Parish Meeting in the hall on Sunday 4 May commencing at 11.45am.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY: GREY LYNN The Children's Liturgy will resume Sunday 11 May.

SACRED HEART PARISH: PLANNED GIVING Receipts for year ended 31 March 2008 along with new envelopes (in numerical order) for the current financial year are available in the church foyer. Thank you for your generous support of the parish. If you would like to Join the planned giving system, please complete a parish registration form. The new envelopes commence next week.

SACRED HEART PARISH: LITURGICAL MINISTERS -We will have the draft plan for incorporating those who have offered to assist the Parish in various ministries available Sunday 11 May to allow for those who will be away on school holidays.
