| Date: Frirday 12/10/04 Time: 6 pm Place: Spyder Speedway Attendees: Paul, Jim, Mike, George, Chris What a challenging race! Thanks everybody. Special congratulations to Chris on his 1st place sweep of club stock and super stock--way to go, Chris! I will be sending out an updated series standings Monday or Tuesday but for those who did not make the race, here is the 1st through 3rd: CLUB STOCK 1) Chris 2) Jim 3) George SUPER STOCK 1) Chris 2) Paul 3) Jim All of our lap times were down significantly from last time and it was tough for many of us to stay on (at least as much as we would have liked). Some personal observations...Each time out I learn something new even if it is only to confirm that what I'm doing is not working. It's back to the drawing board again for me--I'm already thinking about what I can do to prepare for the February race. If Spyder Speedway is a puzzle, then it is a puzzle with a solution (i.e., see Paul's performance in the October race). So, time for me to abandon the long wheel base (something I did to try to imitate Paul's setup in the hopes of imitating his success) and take some hints from the setup Chris was using.
