RACE REPORT FOR 5/15/04:
It was a quiet spring morning with just a few hard core nuts showing up for more of a tune session than a race. Jim showed Tim and Paul what he's doing to get his G3's ballistic... I believe the best time we saw from Jim on Saturday was a CLUB stock running 2.198. Harry Carry "HOLY COW! Take me out to the ball park..." That was impressive to see...
But with power comes a price, running on white and yellow only the three man race was more of a qualifying session than anything. Impressive lap times were posted but Jim lost a pickup shoe and Tim trying to figure out his new Todisized controller let to Paul squeeking out a victory. 110 to Tim & Jim at 107. I ran nothing but 2.5's and 2.6's. My lowest time in practice went down to a mid 2.4.
Twas fun guys, hope more will make it next time. Spyder speedway should be ready to race come June according to the reliable contractor types....

I'm still pretty excited that we are finally tapping into the G3's potential. I definitely think we are turning a corner in the speed/performance department.
