Basic set of tools to work with:

Nice set of small, precision screwdrivers
Nice set of small pliers/wire cutters
Good tire gauge
Wheel press
Wheel puller
pairs of tweezers
X-Acto knives (yes plural, have two)
Extra blades
A small file set
Wet Sandpaper
Toothpicks
Pipe cleaners
Toothbrush or two
Small, precision oiler
Masking tape for cleaning tires
A GOOD!!! pair of scissors
Straight pins (ones with the big plastic heads are nice)
Pin vise with small drill bits
Wide Magic Marker (for marking magnets/chassis)
Thin clear tape for mounting lexan bodies
Super Glue, Zap-A-Gap
Zip Kicker (?)
Battery powered Dremel for cleaning pick ups
"set up" track, a piece with 1" long by 1/2" wide holes cut along each side of the rails


Optional items:
A good multitester (don't skimp, buy a good one)
A variable speed Dremel tool with accessories

PARTS (I suggest a separate parts box for each type of car)

T-Jets:
Several extra pairs of pick-up springs(they sometimes bounce away when you are working on your cars)
Pick up shoes
Guide pins(they do break)
Crown gears (AFX ones for your JLTO's)
Extra body screws
Motor brushes

M/T's and X/T's:
Steel replacement guide pins
Pick-up shoes
Pick-up springs

O-Rings to replace the front tires

SUPER STOCK and MODIFIED:
