Nascar Stock Rules
GENERAL RULES

(Shaunadega Rules)
Tyco/Mattel 440-X2 �Pan� NASCAR chassis, STOCK with the following exceptions:

ELECTRICAL � minimum 6.0 stock armature (no hot stock); stock configuration brush barrels; any brush & brush spring combination; any pickup shoes & shoe springs.

GEARS � any 7T pinion & 25T plastic gears with any gear boss

TIRES � any tires, wheels, axles for front & rear

GUIDE PIN � any guide pin

BODIES � any original short wheelbase Tyco/Mattel, LifeLike or Tomy body.  The body may be lowered, wheel wells cut (no less than .03� from windows or hood gap line); the inside of the body may be ground for tire clearance (no more than .125� from tire); inside body posts may be removed; body must retain all windows and window supports; body may be taped to chassis. No other lightening to body allowed.

RACE FORMAT


Lumberyard 300

Crash n Burn format.
The race will consist of as many rounds as the combination of racers and lanes allow.
Each round will consist of five heats.
Each heat is 10 laps.  Maximum number of laps is 300.
Each racer will compete in the same lane for five heats or one round.
Each racer will compete in six rounds to race in each lane.
Straight rotation.
Stagger start.

Rules

The marshalling or touching any car during a heat race will result in a DNF.  Only exception is at the start if the car does not takeoff.
Car must be running in own lane at end of race to earn points.
A random qualifying order in a randomly drawn lane will be for lane choice.
Tyco chassis with Shaunadega regulations.  Copies will be provided.
A DNF is given to any car not running in own lane at end of heat.
Racers will start a new heat at the starting positions.

Scoring

Points are awarded for each position for each heat.  Number of  laps is not counted.
6 points for first, 5 for second, 4 for third, etc.
DNF is 0 points.
Highest points wins.  Ties will be broken by number of heat wins, heat 2nd�s, heat 3rd�s, etc.  The ultimate tie breaker is qualifying time.
