| The club stock class is specifically for the Tomy Super G Plus (SG+) or the BSRT G3. No other types of cars are eligible to race this class. Since the G3 chassis is a vast improvement over the SG+, the G3 is now the clear platform of choice. However, the rules still allow the SG+ if one is so inclined.
The super stock class is open to all manufacturers. Some practical examples include the BSRT G3, the Slottech Panther, the Slottech Thundercat (also called the T1), Wizzard Patriot and Scorpion series of cars and the Wizzard Storm. The club stock and super stock classes are identical with the exception that silicone-coated sponge tires are allowed in super stock (also wide ceramic magnets are allowed only in super stock). Since the G3 is the only car that can race both classes, it is also the most economic choice in that a single car can race both classes and use the same pool of parts. Cottage industry�one factor to consider is that most of the HO companies operate on a relatively small scale with some companies literally doing business out of a garage. Even the big three (Scale Auto, Slottech and Wizzard) do not always have all their parts in stock and need to await manufacturing runs or deliveries from their subcontractors. Although I can supply a list of BSRT G3 parts from Scale Auto, it doesn�t mean that the parts will be in stock. Sometimes a key component like a splined axle or a front end kit will be out of stock for an extended period of time. The good news is that parts with similar functionality are available from other supply sources. With that cautionary note, here is how to order parts for a club stock: The easiest way to put together a decent club stock is to buy a BSRT ceramic roller from Scale Auto (part# 901) @$34.95, then add a front end kit, rear axle assembly, body and body mounting accessories.
