We meant to do an un(ear)plugged set, acoustic guitars and all, but ended up simply playing a little softer (o.k., a lot softer) than usual. (Robert did use brushes though.) We'd already had the customary record-less record release party at the Swaf cafe last month (great gig together with the BLACK LIPS, who even used Joost's "crocodile" bass guitar!!), and we're thinking of having, like, a second party, this time actually with the record. It's not going to be the "regular" set, we're going to do something special, although we haven't yet decided what. Play wearing oven mittens or something like that.
