Fine, fine wailin' stuff, that avoids all the trappings that spoil so much of the form's output these days, and easily the best Dutch disc of it's kind in ages, and dig their take on "A House In The Country"." Van anarcho's tot pretpunk. The Sack-o'-Woes dragen de fakkel verder met een debuut op ouderwets vinyl. De 10-inch (een 22 minuten durend minialbum) dwingt de koper dus de bestofte platenspeler maar weer 's aan te sluiten. Speelplezier en geluidsvolume zijn twee begrippen die worden gekoesterd door Niels de Wit, Joost Warnik, Robert Bakker en Jochem van Drunen. En dat is te horen. Daarnaast is het ook duidelijk dat er behoorlijk leeftijdsverschil in de band zit, waardoor invloeden van zowel punk uit de jaren zeventig als die van recente datum in de elf nummers zijn geslopen. Dat beaamt de band trouwens zelf ook in de humorrijke biografie: 'De muziek laat zich het best omschrijven als een omgevallen platenkast van 25 jaar punkrock, van A tot Z en weer terug'. Voor een groter publiek zal het ontbreken van pakkende melodieën en patroontjes een struikelblok zijn. Vooral omdat de band voortdurend klinkt of ze alle vier de laatste trein moeten halen.
