Shannon met and fell in love with a man she met on a blind date. He was former Australian rugby union champion David Campese, who shortly after meeting her, flew her out of Australia to Milan, where he was living after being recruited to Italy as the country's star footballer. It was 1992 and Shannon was 20 years old. "He saved my life," says the fitness instructor, who dreams of one day hosting an Oprah Winfrey-style television show.
