Timbs' battle with the incurable bowel ailment, Crohn's Disease, led him to get involved with the Australian Crohn's and Colitis Association. His main aim, he says, is to build awareness of the disease that many people know so little about. "It involves the bowel and the bottom and people shy away from that. But it's there and it's not going away." he said. He also said the association is desperately in need of funds in order to help the 10,000 Australians who suffer from Crohn's Disease.
