| 6 August 2001 Pete Passes "The Final Test" Peter Timbs won the Channel Nine Sale of the Century special this evening, nudging out the other finalists Sharna West, Rachel Corbett and Blair McDonough. On the first show, on Monday night, second evictee Sharna won over the first and third evictees Andy Silva and Todd James. Rachel, one of two intruders, knocked fourth and fifth evictees Gordon Sloan and Lisa Standing out, on the second show. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, sixth evictee Pete knocked intruder and seventh evictee Anita Bloomfield and eighth evictee Johnnie Cass out. Last night, ninth evictee Jemma Gawned let runner-up Blair win, when she gave him the answer to the �Who am I?� question, which allowed him to gain $10 from the �fame game board�. Big Brother winner Ben Williams and tenth evictee Christina Davis were a fair way behind Blair and Jemma. Eleventh evictee Sara-Marie Fedele did not take part in the series but made a special appearance in tonight�s final.
