| Element Self Titled EP 1998 Tracks: 1. The 11th Finger 2. Again 3. Deliverance 4. Pig 10 August 2002 Element This six piece ensemble hailing from the Sydney suburb of Castle hill was realised in the summer of 1997 when Jamie Allan (vocals), Dan Freeman (bass) and Paul Derricott (drums), crossed paths with the profound talent of Mirabai Peart (violin). In the following six months the embryo of element of element developed to include a 5th member Nathan Cooper (guitar) whose sound manipulation skills enhanced the already multi textured sounds of element. This quintet has performed many shows throughout Sydney ranging from the Metro to the Sydney Opera House. The most recent addition to the band is guitarist Marc Spence who has added a rhythmic intrigue to the bands diverse sound bringing the ensemble to a more challenging and satisfying level, both to the listener and the performer. Elements Debut E.P. "All of Everything", shows the extraordinary talent of this experienced young band.
