| 27 April 2002 The Devil Inside Marty From his first appearance Marty emerged as the Golden Boy of the Big Brother house � the young, fresh-faced straight�up country boy. It seems he can do no wrong. The audience has even cheered on his growing affections for Jess, despite him having a girlfriend on the outside. But, at Friday night�s Good Vs Evil themed party, Marty exposed a devilish new side to his personality. In his first diary entry Marty enthused �I am friends with everyone. They think of me as the young, happy, easygoing, down-to-earth country boy who is good for a laugh, which suits me just fine.� But, how much damage did his night of playing the devil do to his reputation inside and outside the house? He is the youngest HM and the only one from the country. Perhaps the experience of sharing house with 11 extroverted, free-loving, city slickers is putting the pressure on to keep up. But on a generally debauched night, it was little Marty that went the furthest. The sight of Marty and Jess (three years his senior) affectionately touching, hugging, whispering and kissing has become a regular part of life in the house. However, at the Friday night party, Marty revealed a naughty, but not-so-nice side. He got into some serious kissing action with Sahra and Jess and started fondling himself and asking the girls, �Do you want to see my cock?� Eventually the threesome took their antics to the bedroom. However, Marty quickly went from kinky to clumsy as he wailed, �Jess hates me� repeatedly, before going to bed. Soon after he fell out of bed and hurt his head. Just what happened to the lovable little brother of the house? Was it a case of �the devil made me do it?� Sahra had a more practical explanation. Unimpressed with Marty�s attempts to get himself excited, she exclaimed �you�re a blow out.� According to his pysch report, Marty �tends to be impulsive and a risk taker, and will energise others through enthusiasm�. But, his youthful exuberance may lose him friends in the house. After winning at two-up, he announced he was going to spend all his Big Ones on beer or a football. Some of the HMs were unimpressed by his choice, including Alex, who has begun to bitch about �the overall immaturity of the group�. Aaron nominated Marty last week because of his lack of respect for his girlfriend. Will his latest actions earn him more nominations? Interestingly this change in Marty�s behaviour was predicted by the BB astrologer who said last week �Marty is an Aquarius, and usually we think of them as being rebellious, unconventional, a bit sort of crazy in a nice way. The thing with Marty is he has a more radical side that we'll see more as the show goes on�. Although he claims he remembers little of his devilish antics in the house, there are many in and outside the house that won�t forget. |
