Welcome to the
Sacramento City Council
of
Beta Sigma Phi (BSP) is a non-academic sorority with 250,000 members in chapters around the world. The organization was founded for the social, cutural and civic enrichment of its members. Beta Sigma Phi is not a secret society. The Greek letter of is name represent Life, Learning and Friendship, which is the organizations motto.

Sacramento City Council (SCC) of BSP is the local council for about 18 of those chapters. We have members as far north as Roseville and as far south as Galt. Our Council is a member of the Northern California Council of Beta Sigma Phi. SCC does five main funtions that all of our chapter members participate in, Sweetheart Ball, Fundraiser - Crab Feed, Ritual Night, Fun Night and a Preferential Tea

As a member of the SCC you are also eligible for
The Mabel Saslow Educational Fund.  This fund has helped out our membership for over 10 years. Learn a little about one of the women we honor.

If you are a prospective member, a transferee looking for a new chapter or a member wanting to re-affiliate in the Sacramento area, please send us an email to  [email protected] so that our Vice President may contact you for our next meeting.
