His producer has hired drunken writer Richard Benson (Holden) to write a movie.  Now he has only two days to  finish it, so he hires a temporary secretary (Hepburn) to finish it on time.
The unfunny, convoluted comedy defeated the fine cast. and Holden and Hepburn, back together after" Sabrina" are deft and have the right touch but can not salvage the film
Starring:
William Holden : 1962 - 1964
The beautiful scenery of Kenya is far better than the melodramatic story. One understands Holden fascination with Africa and wildlife. At the time he had also a relation with his co-star.
William Holden, Audrey Hepburn
William Holden, Audrey Hepburn
William Holden, Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn, Noel Coward, William Holden
The film was scripted by George Axelrod  who had written "Breakfast at Tiffany" and  the producers hoped that he could produce the magic again. Unfortunately Holden was not the youthful handsome man George Peppard was and also his problems with alcohol had become serious and it shows on screen.
Not even  cameos by several major stars , (among them Marlene Dietrich,Mel Ferrer and Tony Curtis)could save the film
