| SCAHMS 2001 SCAHMS stands for Southern California Area Historical Miniatures Society. This is one event that I try to attend every year. It is a world class event and is attended by great modelers such as Bill Horan, Doug Cohen, Young Won and John Rosengrant to name a few. I have been attending since 1997. Last year was the first time I brought a digital camera. Here are samples of entries that year. |

| Bill Horan Bill was a little bit stressed when I asked him to pose next to his display. So, I just took photos of his excellent figures. I took a lot more, but since I'm new to my camera, a lot turned out blurred. |

| John Rosengrant Very talented and very approachable. He obliged me with this pose. As you can see, it also turned out blurry. Luckily, the pictures of his works turned out O.K. |

| Doug Cohen Extraordinary works painted in acrylic. He strikes me as a bit shy but he did allow me to take a picture of him. Too bad my other shots of his works went blurry again. You can see on display, the diorama about a bank robbery in the West. Very nice! |

| Young Won Another prolific artist. His works are as breathtaking as the other masters. I had the opportunity in a past SCAHMS event to have him sign my book. |

| Bob Knee I sat through his painting class. Too bad I didn't have my copy of his book. I would have asked him to sign it as well. Great painting techniques! |
