Here's a little trivia, did you know that the term "boonies" is actually as slang that was derived from a Tagalog (Philippine national dialect) word "bundok"?  The Tagalog word translates to "mountain". Pretty interesting, huh? I never realized that there are a lot of variations for the boonie hat. What I have below are just samples of what's out there. I took a top view shot of each hat so that figure painters can visualize how the camouflage pattern is displayed.
