This is myself and my dear friend Brandi on the plane on route to Italy. We're glowing because we're excited to leave the country. We look high because we graduated college 10 hours earlier, didn't get much sleep, and had to leave before dawn to catch the plane!
My feet.

In the Mediterranean Sea.

The rocks are concave and fit my feet perfectly, unlike in the Atlantic where the rocks tend to be convex.
We arrived at the Napoli airport at 5:00.

AM.

Lori and Brandi catch some well needed
zzzzz's.
We left Sorrento to head to Capri Island for the day. Behind Lori and Brandi is the island of Capri/Anacapri.

Capri is the tourist area on the shore while Anacapri is the higher class in the mountain of the same island. We had to take a cable car to get to Anacapri. I felt terrible for the classmates that were terrified of heights!

This was a beautiful attraction, and a favorite among the class.

Not everyone opted to venture to Trivoli Gardens. I almost didn't go. If I didnt' see the Cappucin Friars the day before, I wouldn't have gone here. However, I'm really glad I did. The archetecture was absolutely gorgeous, and the fountains were amazing. We walked through the isle of 1,000 fountains, passed a Pegasus fountain, and of course, the mosaic fountain behind us.
click photo to see why i almost missed the gardens.if you have a weak stomach, don't click.
(this  was what i looked most forward to when coming to rome. yes, i'm a sick person.)
