The general theme of the Trivoli Gardens was fountains, fountains, fountains; mosaic, mosaic, mosaic.

Here, we have a column of mosiac work. Many of the old fountains and the gardens sported a mosiac theme.
Ahhh. Palermo. This was a city of cities. They had a lot of outdoor shops and markets in the alleyways. This lampost has an interesting artistic element to it.
In Sorrento, there was no shoreline. There was water, then sheer, towering cliffs. This building, like many others we had seen in this area, had their foundations built into the cliff.
