yikes, it has been forever. you all know how hectic it gets this time of year anyway. so much to do and so little time. i just got done filling corn in on IM about how much fun elora had. now, my fingers are too tired to retype all that jazz. oh well, i have tons of pictures to post and a bunch of great new graphics to try out. im not in love with this page so ar, it is really quite blah.
so anyways, elora really did get spoiled on her first christmas. the first present we opened was hokey pokey elmo. of course i unwrapped it a little bit for her and as soon as she saw elmo she got all excited and started checking it out. she didn't know wht the deal with the paper was thought. becasue we had been telling her "no" for the past month or so when ever she tried to open christmas presents. what a good little girl she is.
well, the season was filled with the usual family drama. mom thought i was making up my back injury, even after i went to the ER. now come on. this DD girl has had her fair share of back aches in her day. especially after doing double shifts on my feet all day... and i absolutely hate hospitols and waiting... and needles!!!!!!!!!!!!! which is what they did, they stuck me in the leg at the hospitol, gave me 2 perscriptions and told me to see a massage therapist and a chiropractor. i guess ill have to give heather a call when i have the fundage. my sister went to steve's family's in penn instead of coming home. in fact, she doesn't know when she is coming. now damn. john brought his teenage girlfriend with him. she lives in marysville but decided to stay at my moms house all week when she wasn't working. i had the trauma of my life when they decided to get down in the bathroom and weren't discrete about it. ugh. so, chrstmas night i headed to the liquor store to fetch a small bottle of christmas cheer and they were closed. pooey. so i called my brother to see if he wanted to hit a bar or two or four. and he says he'll call me back didn't. so, i left him a pissy message, becasue he turned his phone off and him and his girlfriend went out. asshole. so, i haven't talked to him since AND he still owes me money. which wasn't bothering me, because he doesnt make a lot of money as a united states marine. BUT he did buy his GF a digital camera, a DVD player, cliniques 3 step skin care and more... is it wrong and not in the christmas "spirit" for me to be mad about that?? i was pretty thrilled about my christams presents from mom and dad. I got a DVD/ VCR, a white gold diamond ring, a mini george foreman grillland the velour jumpsuit from old navy that i wanted. (of course its a bit too tight on my ass, since i have gained weight on my consistant diet of CHOCOLATE!!). it also made me happy that i got great gifts for everyone on my measley budget. even though i haven't heard from the cannons since thanksgiving (when brad came home) i sent out barb kim and gram's presents today. i wonder what is up their butts. k, the best and my most favorite present that i gave this year has to be the homer simpson slippers that i got for jake. it was the last gift i bought, but it was absolutely perfect. i think jake liked them too! |
