This is Hamlet’s friend, Horatio. Hamlet died yesterday when Laertes poisoned him. Before he died, though, he was able to stab him back with the poisoned blade. Not only that, but with the poisoned blade he stabbed and forced Claudius to drink poisoned wine, which had minutes before killed Hamlet’s mom, Gertrude. They are were one messed up family.

Laertes is a jerk! He thinks he can take me on in fencing! He’s angry at me for no reason so he challenged me to a duel. He’s an idiot. He’ll lose so fast. Once he’s out of the way I’ll be able to take on Claudius. I hate both of them so much!

May 11                           Mood: :’( Sad
Things suck, as usual. As I was on my way to England, I found that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were carrying letters from Claudius to the English king telling him to kill me. Those jerks. They don’t know about what’s in the letters, but they still betrayed me. So, to get even at them, I changed the names of who to kill. Then when I got back I met some gravediggers and I saw Yorick for the first time in years. It was just his skull, but it brought back so many memories. Then I saw that Ophelia was dead. She went crazy and it’s my entire fault. She fell into a river and was unable to saver herself. I let her fall. I wasn’t there for her and then her brother flips out at me! Like he cared for her! He was in Paris gallivanting with whores while I had to struggle to stay alive against my psychotic uncle!

April 9                           Mood: :-[ Worried
The play worked. Claudius reacted just as I planned. Claudius is a guilty mofo. I went to kill him, but he was praying. If I killed him there, he would be sent to heaven. That is so fricked up. I went up to my mom’s room to tell her of Claudius’s guilt. I was so mad and I was using verbal daggers on her, but then the ghost of my dad came in and told me to chill. She couldn’t see him, and now she must think I’m crazier than before. To make matters worse, I heard a cry from the curtain. I though it was Claudius, and since he wasn’t praying I could kill him. I stabbed the curtain, and it turned out to be Polonius I killed. The spying bastard deserved it. But now I have to go to England until this fiasco cools a bit.

April 7                           Mood: Plotting
I have the perfect plan to find out if the ghost was my father or not. I will confirm Claudius’s guilt using a play. I’ll have the actors behave just like what the ghost said happened. If Claudius overreacts, I’ve got him!

March 17                           Mood: :-( Upset
I’m always being watched! I can’t stand it. I put on this crazy act to dispel suspicion, but now it’s just attracted more. Claudius even got Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to spy on me. I’ve messed everything up. I’ve set up everything all wrong. I’ve alienated Ophelia and now it’s set like that. If I start acting like I used to, that will arouse even more suspicion.

February 18                  Mood: Confused
Last night Horatio showed me a ghost that was wondering the battlements. I followed the ghost, and it said that it was my father. Not only that, it said that Claudius had killed him with poison. I don’t know what to think. It makes sense. It explains everything, but I can’t be sure. It could be a lie from Satan.

Things here suck. My dad died. I loved him. They said it was a serpent that killed him, but I don’t believe it. He’s the king of Denmark, which means that I should be king now. But my uncle, Claudius, married my mom, which makes him king now. Is that even legal? My mom doesn’t care about me now. She doesn’t care about my dad, she doesn’t care about anything accept Claudius. It’s been less than a month and everyone but me has forgotten. The two of them even had the nerve to tell me that death happens and I should just get over it. Bull. He’s responsible for this, some how. The only good news is that Horatio has come to see me. He is the only good thing left in the world. My other friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern have completely left me. They were always idiots.
