| Mercenary swordsman from Tsheng-haii. Zao, once a member of the Warriors' Guild, quit the profession and turned to a sword-for-hire. In the capital of the Emerald Kingdom, Zao was able to find a lot of work, and has accumulated considerable wealth, and a vast number of contacts and employers. At the age of 48, Zao, with his silvery hair and wrinkling features, is approaching the twilight years of the average Human, yet his skill with a blade has not suffered the effects of time, and he can match most expert swordsmen, including many Nephilim. Recently, Zao's prospects seem to have inproved greatly; his profile within Tsheng-haii, as well as his wealth, seem to have increased. Some speculate that this may have something to do with the recent outbreak of hostilities against Nephilim as declared by King Malthos, but the truth of the matter is unknown. |
