Obviously he was met with suspicion, but the Temple nonetheless accepted Burghman, despite his inclination to remain in a state of mental denial, believing that somehow none of it was really real. Burghman�s identity could not be learned by anyone attempting to do so, but it seemed to have been of no real concern to anyone within the Temple at the time. After his initial foray into Sabbat affairs, Burghman was not seen for a month or so, until the Warriors cell of the Alliance found him in Maiden Newton's cathedral, where he was, despite his clan's banal heritage, repenting in front of the large crucifx there.
Burghman was brought out of �storage� when the decision was made to hunt down and destroy London; however, Burghman�s lingering grip on his humanity proved him of little use to the cause. His refusal to drink any blood at all left him extremely weak, to the point where he collapsed, and was ultimately drained of both life and soul by Quentin Lewis, in the persona of Sabbat loyalist Perfectly Normal.
