Roy Batty
(Jon)

Lasombra. The Sabbat of Maiden Newton were forst informed of Roy Batty, their new Archbishop, by Terrence, the Auditor sent by Cardinal Tomsk. Terrence warned them that Batty is likely to take extreme offence at anyone making light of his name.
Batty's arrival in the city was not the smoothest; on his way in he was attacked by Lupines, his car was trashed, and he went missing. He did however show up the next week, although already there is much doubt as to the rather eccentric Lasombra's leadership qualities, since so far he has managed to do very little other than agree to the suggestions of the other Cainites. Already this has upset former leader of the city
Carth Onasi, who walked out in disgust. There is speculation however that Batty might be deliberately appearing to be weak, for whatever reason. Whether Batty's tenure will improve or not remains to be seen, but thus far he has not made the greatest impression on the Sabbat of Maiden Newton.
In fact, the truth about Batty did not come out for several weeks after his arrival for, while investigating a Quicksilver laboratory, members of Ductus Prowler's Pack stumbled across the real Roy Batty, who was being held in a secret part of the lab. It turned out that Batty had been ambushed by the men in black who had been recently terrorising the Cainites of the city, and had been captured and taken to Quicksilver, while a replacement of Quicksilver's creation had been sent to take his place.
Batty wasted no time in despatching of his doppelganger at the earliest opportunity - the next Temple meeting. The real Batty was soon revealed to be nothing like his counterpart, instead being an angry, violent and intimidating Cainite. His new, delayed leadership was soon tested by the break-in of the Temple by Mr Chapman, head of the corporation's shady Security Section. Chapman was able to cause significant harm to Batty, who fled into the forest to recover, but was instead slain by his enemy there.
