Middle Earth Guild Rules

  1. Spamming the act of repeatedly asking for help with anything.
  2. Dont do it. Ever!
  3. If you do it you will be removed from the guild.
  4. Power Leveling the act of joining a team and letting another person kill mobs while you collect experience points for watching.
  5. Guild members under level 70 may be power leveled (water taos are an exception).
  6. Any guild member can start a team, but only level 70 and higher gain virtue points.
  7. If you want to be on a team, ask once. Otherwise refer to rule number one.
  8. If you are within one percent of your next level, and you are less then level 70 it is appreciated if you offer to give virtue points to level 70 and higher players because virtue points are required to get into the labyrinth.
  9. Teaming the act of starting a team for the purpose of helping lower level players gain experience and levels.
  10. Guild Deputy Leaders and members who are level 70 and higher, especially the archers, are expected to help lower level guild members OCCASIONALLY. It is not their 24hr-a-day job to level new players.
  11. Anyone interested in starting a team should make a single Guild announcement.
  12. Interested members should whisper their response.
  13. If the team is full do not continue to ask if you can join; again refer to rule number one.
  14. Player Killing (PK) the act of killing another player in the game.
  15. Other players in this game will kill you. It is part of your life in this game. If you get PKd tell the guild once, then move on. The Guild Leader and/or Deputy Leaders will decide if there will be any action taken. Thats their job.
  16. Guild members may instigate the act of player killing if the action is warranted, or if the target is on your enemy list. If you have questions then ask the GL or a DL.
  17. Guild members may attempt to player kill targets whose names are flashing in blue, red, or black. Although it is usually best to keep your nose out of other people's business.
  18. If you get PKd, use your energy to improve your skills and out level your assassin. Sitting around pissing and moaning about it wont do you any good. Just remember Revenge is Sweet!
  19. If you PK or get PK'd make sure to get a screen shot of the incident for proof. Especially if you are the PK'ing party. Get a screen shot with your enemy list open, so that way you will have no problems if they come back and try to make problems for you. F12 is the button to press to take a screen shot.
  20. Drop Stealing the act of planting yourself on another players drop.
  21. Dont do it Ever!
  22. If you do it you will be removed from the guild. Plus its a great way to get yourself PKd!
  23. Kill Stealing (KS) the act of coming along and serving the killing blow to a mob when someone else was already working on it.
  24. Dont do it Ever!
  25. If you do it you will be removed from the guild. Another great way to get yourself PKd!
  26. Selling Items the act of sitting in the market trying to peddle the items you found while hunting.
  27. It is customary to offer your prize to guild members first at a reasonable discount. 20% off current market value is a reasonable discount. This mostly applies to elite, super, or +ed items.
  28. Guild members should make a single Guild announcement.
  29. Interested parties should whisper their response.
  30. Do not beg for a better deal. The player who found it worked hard for it and deserves to be rewarded.
  31. Team etiquette things to do or not do while on a team.
  32. Do not Drop Steal Ever!
  33. Do not assume that whatever money drops is yours. If the leader is an archer he needs the money to re-supply his/her arrows. This is true mostly for gold/gold bullion drops, scyce/silver drops are fair game usually.
  34. Wait patiently, and offer to help if you can, but usually it's best to just relax and enjoy the free levels.
  35. Water Taos can heal, revive, and use stigma
  36. Archers and Fire Tao's can heal and attack from a distance
  37. Warriors and Trojans can attack
  38. The leader will pick up items first, and drop the ones he doesnt want. These items are fair game.
Middle Earth Guild is striving to be known as a guild that helps others (not only in our guild) and plays fairly. Disputes are settled in a civilized manner when it is possible. Generally, guild members are expected to be polite to all other Conquer players as this promotes a civilized game environment. Guild members who are in direct violation of any of the rules will be booted from the guild.
